ROMAN JARS WITH ZIG-ZAG TRAILING ATTACHED TO RIM

These examples have a heavy horizontal zig-zag trailing attached to the edge of the shoulder and outside of rim forming an openwork “collar”.  A common type of a Roman glass jar of the 3-4th Century.
